Barnet Hobnobs is a singles group for unattached 25 -
a member of the Barnet Synagogue which sponsors the group. She's been running Barnet
Hobnobs for over three years. "It's great to see friendships forming between people
who might not have had the opportunity otherwise."
Events are held regularly, thanks to the organisational skills of Linda assisted
by Serena. The helping hand of Paul, a regular attendee, is always there and with
Elaine runs the always successful Quiz Nights. Bowling, Quizzes, Karaoke, Games Evenings
and other social events are popular with some attracting over 80 people. A group
has also visited the Beth Shalom Holocaust Memorial Centre in Newark.
"We try to put on something every six weeks and so far we've been lucky to attract
a very friendly crowd each time."
Our aim is to provide an easy place for people to go to, either on their own or with
friends, where they can meet other young single Jews in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Information on future events is posted on this Website, on other community Websites
and in the London Jewish News and the Jewish Chronicle.
